Your privacy on this page

We keep this deliberately small. On this website we collect:

• The email address you submit. When you sign up to be notified about the launch, we store the email address you enter along with the date you submitted it.
• Anonymous usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the page is used, such as pages viewed, referring sites, and the general type of device and country. This data is aggregated and anonymous: we set no cookies for analytics, store no IP addresses, and do not track you across other websites. It cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not ask for your name, payment details, or any other personal information on this site.

• Your email is used only to email you about the Composition launch and closely related updates. Where the law requires a legal basis (such as the GDPR), we rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
• Analytics data is used to measure interest and improve the page. Because it is aggregated, anonymous, and collected without cookies, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this page, and only so they can perform that service for us:

• An email/newsletter provider that stores the signup list and sends the launch announcement.
• Our hosting and analytics provider, which serves the site and provides the privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics described above.

These providers may process data in other countries. We can provide the specific providers we use on request. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We keep your email until the launch campaign is complete and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us at the address below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, these rights come from the GDPR. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it in that sense.

We do not use cookies to track you, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, which is why you won’t see a cookie-consent banner on this site.

This site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy as the product develops, for example when the app launches. If we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
